Excellent tour ! One of the best walking tours I've been on. I did this tour almost 5 years ago and did it again yesterday and it was just as good if not better ! My friends also loved it and we were all vey moved by the stories told by Merima. The tour is extremely well structured and the chosen stops are all extremely relevant and interesting in understanding what Sarajevo and Bosnia experienced in the last 35 years. The tour touches on extremely heavy and sad topics but Merima manages to add a touch of humor which is so welcome. She is such a wonderful guide : pleasant, funny, SO smart and knowledgeable and most of all , profoundly human. A perfect example of why I keep returning to this extraordinary city. Keep up the good work Nemo and Merima and best of luck always !

He really gave an interesting and nice tour. His stories were very personal and he was open for every topic. We were very touched by the stories he told and had tears in our eyes from time to time. We really recommend joining this tour.

Absolutely fantastic tour! Nano was extremely knowledgeable, having lived through the war made his tour even more remarkable. His personal family stories are unimaginable. He was extremely professional, answered every single question, and was a pleasure to spend the tour with.

Thank you very much for this interesting and very moving visit of the city. Before the tour, we had trouble to understand the conflict but at the end everything was clear. The stories shared by Merima helped to realise what civils had to bear. We left speachless.

Cicatrici di Guerra & Tour Gratuito di Sarajevo Oggi con Neno & Merima

Merima was terrific bringing the chaos of the time to life in a way that made me truly appreciate the peace I have grown up with in Canada, and a much better feeling as to why, ever since I was a little boy, I have always wished for peace…as naive an idea and concept this might be, I still hope for peace. There may be politicians or companies that ‘win’ in war, but us average people? Nobody wins a war 😔 Peace ✌️

Important tour to help understand what Sarajevo suffered and the courage and resilience of people. This tour is extraordinary: done with great intelligence, insight, humour. As well as living through the experience himself , he is incredibly well-informed and able to discuss indepth. He is warm and treats participants with great courtesy and openness. Best tour ever

Cicatrici di Guerra & Tour Gratuito di Sarajevo Oggi con Neno & Merima

Excellent, if not uplifting and happy, tour. I was in my 30s at the time of the siege, and I remember seeing coverage on the news, but I guess in the cushiness of my American middle class lifestyle, the depths of the horror never penetrated. Top three gut punch I've had.

Neno shared not only the history but also personal experiences that better made us understand the feeling and mentality of the society during a time where hope was the only thing that couldn't end. Emotional without being graphic. With visual materials to add to our perception Neno was always open to questions and debates around the past, the present and the future of Bosnia And Herzegovina. Highly recommend. Thank you for sharing Neno, we wish you the world, from Portugal ❤️
