Free tours Natura a Sintra

It's the best tour we had! My husband and I were the only couple that signed up, perfect private tour just for us. It was true to the title of the tour, A Hidden Path, we're pretty sure that without him we wouldn't find the beautiful Queen's Garden of Sintra's palace or the lookout points to view beautiful Sintra from high elevation. Alex started the tour by taking us to the best bakery in town! We ended going back to it every single days we were there, he gave us lots of tips, his English was perfect. The tour lasted much longer which we appreciated very much. Thank you Alex!

A great way to explore Sintra! Alex gave us a fantastic overview of Sintra and the surrounding area before we visited the Palace and Castle, which really helped put everything into context. The walking tour itself was brilliant, with some beautiful viewpoints along the way. Alex was also really attentive, taking the time to check in with everyone in the group throughout the walk. Would definitely recommend this tour!

With Alexander we could do a hiking route that helped us to reach the castle zone, with a funny morning.

Alex made Sintra feel like a hidden story rather than just a postcard. The hiking route he took us on wasn't the usual crowded tourist path. we went through quiet forests, saw views that most visitors miss, and he kept the pace just right for everyone. He's knowledgeable but never boring, with a good sense of humor and a clear passion for the area. If you want to see the real Sintra beyond the palaces, this is the tour to book. Highly recommend!

We had a great free walking tour in Sintra today with Alex. You could really tell that he put a lot of effort into the tour and genuinely enjoys sharing the history and culture of the city. As a local, he gave us many interesting insights that you probably wouldn’t get otherwise. He also showed us a very cool viewpoint and even took us to a hidden spot with an amazing view, which made the experience feel really special and authentic. On top of that, he was very friendly, communicative, and easy to talk to throughout the whole tour. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this tour with Alex to anyone visiting Sintra!

One of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Alexandre was funny and thoughtful, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The hike was beautifully paced - scenic without being too strenuous. The secret viewpoint overlooking Sintra was absolutely breathtaking and something we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sintra.

We enjoyed our tour with Alex a lot. He is a very pleasant young man, knowledgeable of the history and nature of Sintra and surroundings. It was a very nice walk up to the castle of Pena through beautiful gardens and scenic views, doable by anyone with normal condition. Much better than a crowded busride. Highly recommended!

Un chic type, je recommande. Très gentil, enthousiaste et attentionné. Le montée est un peu à pic, mais cela vaut amplement le coup. Merci Alex!

I really really enjoyed this tour! When Alex says he takes you a way only a local would know, he means it! He brought us all the way from the National Palace, up the entire mountain to Pena Palace. But showed us so many natural hidden gems that normally you would just walk/drive past along the way. Alex also had a lot of great historical, geographical, political information about so many of the buildings and history of Sintra. His energy was very passionate with great storytelling which made the tour so much more engaging! I would 1000000% recommend Alex and this tour to anyone with a curious and adventurous spirit! Thank you Alex! I will be back!

Authentic Sintra from a different point of view!

Sintra come un locale: sentieri nascosti + viste segrete

First of all, Alex was the first guide in Sintra, that did not cancel. We truly appreciate his professionalism, even though it was just us two, he did not cancel. Alex has a lovely energy and youthful ability to communicate information. He was willing to answer all our questions, always adding new, less divulged facts. We highly recommend taking his tour!!!

After booking a number of tours in Sintra, Alex was the only guru who didn’t cancel the tour due to low numbers! It ended up being a private tour, which was an amazing experience, and we took a more active and scenic route up to the piña palace! For those who don’t want to feel like sardines on the bus and want to get in some steps this is a great alternative!
