A wonderful trip down the historic streets of Tirana with Stivi .. a great guide and a gentleman .Lots of unheard stories, unusual monuments ,oodles of kindness in recommending cafes, souvenir shops , even taxis to take you to different places ...had a wonderful time , whole -heartedly recommended

Amazing tour with Stivi! 🇦🇱 Stivi was fantastic — funny, friendly, knowledgeable and full of interesting stories about Albania, Tirana. He took us to up to 10 locations around the city, and made the whole tour fun and relaxed, and was also amazing at taking photos! Such a great experience. Stivi clearly puts a lot of effort and passion into what he does, and it really shows. If you’re visiting Tirana, I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Stivi. You’ll learn a lot, have a good laugh, see so much, and probably leave with some great photos too!

We had such a great time on this tour! It was a rainy morning, and it turned out that it was just my husband and me, so we ended up having a private tour. Yeay! Our tour started at 9 AM, and Stivi actually arrived before us and was waiting there with an umbrella. Such a thoughtful and lovely gesture! The tour itself was fantastic and incredibly informative. Stivi communicates really well, and you can immediately tell that he is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He explained everything clearly and made the whole experience enjoyable and interesting. We’re so happy that we chose to do this tour with Stivi. It was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and professional guide! Thank you, Stivi, for such a memorable tour! 😊

Having done many walking tours, Stivi was one of the best guides we’ve had. He was very knowledgeable across a full range of topics and communicated this information clearly and passionately. He kept the tour to a good pace, covering many sites of interest across the 3.5 hours. He regularly checked in with the group to ascertain our interests in the different places and judged whether to go into sites or just explain and move on. He also provided great tips for things to come back to and places for food and drinks. He also took an interest in the people on the tour and his curiosity for learning was obvious. Thanks Stivi!

Despite our being late, Stivi worked to catch us up. He delivered a comprehensive tour with important sites, history and lifeways of Albanians. He was so helpful with tips on getting around Tirana. I highly recommend this tour!

It was a good introduction during my visit to Albania to learn a lot from" Stivi" a well informative Guide with deep knowledge of Tirana history and culture in an entertaining manner.... He loves his job and he is passionate to make visitors love Albania by providing good infos about the good restaurants and locations to visit....he is even ready to folow up with his group in case they need his help ... Albania and Tirana are proud to have stivi for a walking tour and bike tour .... The feed back about him is always excellent...andci hope he continue his guiding with englisch and tcheck speakers on tours with buses in Albania... What a fabulous tour and great introduction to Tirana! Stivi is incredibly knowledgeable, took us to many fun spots beyond the classic tourist circuit, gave us so many great recs for food and activities, and joined our group for dinner and drinks after the tour. Truly a great guy doing great work!

If you have the time, choose this tour - Stivi is great and informative; ready to adapt to last minute changes and/or requests by tourists. It is a true WALKING tour - but the places are a must-see.

This was one of the finest walking tours I have ever taken, and quite possibly the very best. Stivi is a licensed tour guide, and his professionalism becomes apparent from the very beginning. His knowledge is extensive, and his enthusiasm for Albania's history and culture shines through every part of the experience. Rather than following a rigid script, he adapted the tour to match our interests and always made time for questions, which I greatly appreciated, especially since I had plenty of them. While some guides can become impatient with curiosity, Stivi remained thoughtful and encouraging throughout. On the rare occasion that he wasn't completely certain of an answer, he said so honestly instead of speculating, which only increased my confidence in his expertise. Noticing my interest, he generously expanded the tour beyond the original itinerary, introducing us to several additional places that we otherwise would have missed. He also recommended a number of destinations to visit throughout Albania, many of which we enthusiastically added to our travel plans, and we were extremely glad we did. The entire experience was engaging, insightful, and exceptionally well delivered. I am sincerely grateful for the time Stivi dedicated to us and for making the tour feel so personal. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a deeper understanding of Albania beyond the usual sightseeing.

Ich habe schon viele Walking Touren in meinem Leben gemacht, aber keiner wusste soviel wie Stivi. Ganz im Ernst, dieser Guide wusste wirklich alles. Selbst fremde Leute lauschten, was Stivi zu erzählen hatte. Es gab nicht einfach nur einen Vortrag bzw. blinde Aneinanderreihung von Fakten. Alles hat perfekt gepasst zu dem Ort, wo wir gerade waren. I have a lot of experience with free guided tours and this one exceeded my expectations by far! Stivi is such a genuine and very intuitive guide and you can sense how much he loves his city. Honestly, this tour elevated our experience of Tirana. Stivi was incredible. The tour was definitely more than what I expected. Nuggets of information that you wouldn't have known if you did it yourself. He's professional and he offered us tips and places to go and eat not only for Tirana, but for the rest of our trip. I feel like we didn't just walk away informed and entertained but also with a new friend. Thank you Stivi for the amazing tour!

I recently traveled to Albania and found myself with a few days to burn in Tirana before beginning a roadtrip with my girlfriend. I didn't have anything concretely planned so I found myself surfing the web for a free walking tour late one evening. It may have been about 8pm and I intended to go the following day. In due time, I found myself reading through a blog adequately titled "Is This The Best Free Walking Tour in Tirana?" - spoiler alert...it is. There I was introduced to Stivi, the tour guide, and a few things I could expect should I decide to take a tour with him. I didn't hesitate. A few hours later, Stivi promptly contacted me via WhatsApp to confirm some important details, such as our meeting time and location for the following morning. Fortunately for me, I found myself as the only participant on the tour. It was a Tuesday just before peak season, after all. What was originally supposed to last approximately 3.5 hours instead became 8 or 9. I found myself spending the entire day with Stivi who was so incredibly generous with his time. We covered everything that was expected of the tour - Tirana and Albanian history/culture more generally. But more importantly, we became friends and found ourselves sharing laughs and enjoying deep conversations, both about our own cultures and our perspectives on life. I walked away from the tour not having met another tour guide, but someone I feel grateful to now call my friend. I know that most people will not be able to enjoy a 1 on 1 tour as I did, but don't let that dissuade you. Even if you end up in a small group, Stivi will more than take care of you.
