We highly recommend Julio. He took us on a wonderful tour of the city and surrounding neighborhoods. He was most conscientious making sure we were safe and stayed together. Because he is a native, he had unique insights on the monuments, culture and even the politics which we enjoyed. We typically just rent bikes and do our own tour but this one is absolutely worth it!

We had an excellent tour with Julio today. He provided great information about the town, region and really everything about the area and culture. He also takes the time to answer our questions. The biking was a fun way to see other parts of the area, some that are not really accessible by car. The bikes and helmets were in great shape, and Julio always ensured we were safe.

The tour with Joan is a fascinating introduction to the city of Arequipa. Joan took the group to some very interesting places that we would not have been able to find by ourselves. Joan shared many interesting facts about Arequipa on the tour and really was an excellent guide. Many thanks.

Michael was an excellent host. He made a great introduction going back to the origins of the province and the overwhelming desire to stay independent of Peru. He took us to the places of interest in the town centre explaining the historical detail and supporting with slides. He also pointed out places of local culinary interest.
