Super informative and enjoyable tour with Sean at the food market. We covered many things about the culture, history and tastes of the region. Got to try all kinds of local foods, many you wouldn't know to try without a guide. Highly recommended as a way to start your Porto journey. Must do in Porto.

Great food tour with Sean, he was proactive in messaging before the tour with details of where to meet. Extremely friendly and welcoming with lots of banter as the title says 🙂 The tour itself was great around Bolhão Market. We stopped at numerous Portuguese stalls wine, cheese, seafood, meats, desert and many more. He was great at navigating the bust market and getting spots to explain the food and the stall with detail. All three of us enjoyed to tour and would recommend to anyone visiting Porto. Thanks Sean!

Sean was great - very engaging, told us all about the market & food, we got to try loads, prices of everything was very reasonable, small group and a lovely afternoon .. the area around the market is lovely too. Highly recommend!

He was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic! I learned lots about Portugal and their food history I never knew. Being able to choose what you want was the cherry on Top. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had a great tour with Sean, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and the history. It was a lovely small group and I was accommodated as a vegetarian, which is not always easy with traditional food! Brilliant tour, definitely recommend!

Sean went above and beyond! I ended up being the only person who showed up for the tour, and he still gave me the full experience with the same enthusiasm, attention, and professionalism. Sean explained the history, culture, and food traditions in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. You can tell he truly knows and loves the city. The tour was very well organized, relaxed, informative, and fun. Sean answered every question with patience and gave great local insights and recommendations. Sean looked after the group very well. He was knowledgeable and attentive,. allowing us to spend more time in one area and move on when less time was needed. Fantastic. Will always use Guru to book our food tours.

Blown away by how fantastic the experience was. Sean is an amazing host - great mix of funny, knowledgeable, and overall just great to be around. The food was incredible and as other reviews mention he had special deals with some of the vendors so we felt we had the perfect amount to eat for breakfast/lunch. There was only 5 of us plus Sean today (the other 2 groups have already left great reviews!) and it felt intimate and friendly and overall was just a great group dynamic. Absolutely the highlight of our time in Porto! -Finn

Outstanding tour! The design of this food tour where you choose which and how much of each food to purchase is perfect. Most of the wines and foods were about €3. Sean is knowledgeable, energetic and leads a fun tour. Highly recommended!

A really great food tour for an introduction to Portuguese cuisine. Sean was very informative and knowledgeable on the tour. Highly recommend to take the tour at the beginning of your trip because you will likely return to eat and explore the area.

Sean was a great guide! He shared just the right amount of history and information without being overwhelming. We really enjoyed his company and he was easily able to share his passion for this city. He was able to answer all of our questions and his pace was perfect! So glad we booked this tour!
