Scoprirai la storia affascinante dietro uno degli edifici più emblematici: il Mercado de Abasto. Rimarrai sorpreso da tutti i dettagli della nascita di un quartiere unico e irripetibile.
Viaggeremo all'inizio, ai tempi d'oro: l'apice e l'espansione della zona; anche la sua chiusura e abbandono, fino alla sua rinascita e al contesto attuale. El Abasto ha accolto per più di un secolo immigrati e creoli, creando così un'identità propria. In esso sono stati costruiti teatri, circhi, locande, cantine e bar, conferendogli uno stile di vita unico, pittoresco, pieno di grandi storie e aneddoti che conosceremo nelle sue strade per comprendere le chiavi dello spirito porteño.
Visiteremo i luoghi dove iniziò Gardel, la sua casa, i bar, e i segreti di una vita epica. Conoscerai anche il mondo autentico delle tanguerie, milonghe e case di tango come un locale, e non in modo artificiale.

Mi chiamo Pedro e sono il fondatore di Almafuerte, un'organizzazione dedicata al turismo culturale. Sono nato in Patagonia e vivo nel quartiere di La Boca da cinque anni. Il mio più grande desiderio è che chiunque venga in Argentina, mettendo piede su questa terra, si senta un po' argentino. Sarebbe un grande onore e mi darebbe un'immensa soddisfazione. Nel cuore argentino, nessuno è straniero se arriva con il desiderio di sentirsi uno dei nostri fratelli e sorelle. Joaquin is passionate about the Abasto area and its history. I didn’t know much about BA history, but Joaquin explained it so clearly and with so much enthusiasm for preserving this historic place. I better understand the multiple dynamics that made Buenos Aires what it is today and the role that Tango music and dance played. Joaquin genuinely transferred his love for this area he grew up in, and the admiration he has for Carlos Gardel to me. He even sings and plays the guitar, just like Carlos Gardel did. I’m looking forward to learning more at the Carlos Gardel museum. I give Joaquin 5 stars for transferring his love for this area to me….I highly recommend this tour

Pedro came for the tour even though I was the only person. I couldn’t understand why this was because it was extremely interesting and informative about the History of Buenos Aires and got into the soul of tango, music and dance. Pedro was very enthusiastic, had some amazing old photos of how the people lived in the Abasto area and knew about the history, rises and falls of the people and buildings in the area, these we visited. He was willing to put me in touch with people and venues that would help me develop my interests. Altogether à fantastic experience, Pedro was a perfect guide, I highly recommend this tour.

Pedro came for the tour even though I was the only person.
