The "Must-Do" walk in the city center along the promenade with a view of the Danube

Visitors gain insight into the history of the city, particularly into the era of the 19th century, a magnificent time for the capital. The route starts at Eötvös Square/Hotel Intercontinental, goes along the Danube promenade, past the Redoute to Vörösmarty Square (to the historic center of downtown) and along the pedestrian zone Váci Street, up to the Elisabeth Bridge. During the tour, we admire the view of the Danube, and guests hear interesting legends and stories about the bourgeois life of past centuries, the monuments, and the most beautiful buildings of this district. The tour ends at Petőfi Square, in the immediate vicinity of the Elisabeth Bridge. The sights are viewed from the outside, entrance fees are not included. Shopping for Hungarian souvenirs is possible after the walk.
