Essential Free walking tours of Liverpool

This was a really interesting way to get a taste of the history of Liverpool.

Great tour around Liverpool with some history and obviously the Beatles. Enjoyed it and definitely would do more Guru walks again

Doug was very personable, had great stories to tell,interesting, informative visual aids. Overall a wonderful two + half hours that stimulated us to explore further.

A good informative tour with lots of nice local colour. It was a freezing cold day and our guide made some time inside looking at the library etc which was nice

Ian was very knowledgeable and a lovely man. I felt we didn't move enough, for a walking tour. We stood in one place, for far too long as the guide seemed to tailor the tour to the constant questions and desires of other participants who were especially vocal. I wish we had kept things moving, and stayed within the allocated time of 2.5hrs.

We had a very good and very informative time! Liam not only answered our questions very well, but he added interesting insights. We highly recommend taking this tour.

Lovely guide Terry, wonderful tour of Liverpool`s famous landmarks including the amazing library! Loved Liverpool and the friendly people; they have a very unique sense of humour and engaging personality as we experienced in the comedy clubs and old public houses. The Museum of Liverpool gave us the city`s history which was a great start to our three day break..

Doug was a great tour guide - offering us so much information. He asked our interests in Liverpool first; history, art, architecture, films etc and then tailored his tour to include lots of information about these. Considering we don’t live too far from Liverpool, and we travel here often, we’ve never learned more about it - now we can say we know a lot about it. Thank you Doug for a great tour!

Terry was an excellent guide. Very engaging and informative. Also very mindful of the rain and kept us dry! We learnt so much about the history of Liverpool which was so interesting and he also had some good anecdotes.
