I was skeptical of this tour and it proved me wrong. It was my first food walking tour and this proved me wrong. Our guide Elizabeth was a joy and we appreciate the history of the food and the neighborhood and the tacos were our of this world. The tour was during dinner time, so timing was perfect. Highly recommend it.

I had a lovely walking taco tour with David, who was very knowledgeable on the history and traditions of tacos. I ended up being the only person on the tour, so I really appreciated that it still went ahead, we went to 3 local spots and I was able to try many different and delicious tacos. The tour did start a little late (not the guide's fault), but Kactus remained in regular contact, so communication was very smooth.

It was such a great tour. I expected to taste some great street fair, and Val delivered, with great locations, explanations of the food items, and recommendations. But what I didn’t expect was extensive background info on Mexican cooking and agriculture. For instance, I learned how the pre-Hispanic tribes chose what crops to grow together for the best results, and is a practice still used today. Val was very fun and entertaining. It was an excellent the i would recommend to anyone visiting CDMX!

David fue muy profesional, cercano y simpático. Nos dios mucha información no solo sobre tacos si no también sobre su contexto en la cultura mexicana. Además adaptó muy rápido el tour tanto a las condiciones climatológicos como al encontrarnos una taqueria cerrada. Sin duda, lo recomendamos para iniciar un viaje por México!

David fue súper buena onda, yo pensé que solo íbamos a comer pero nos explicó mucho solo la historia de los tacos e inclusive de las aguas frescas. Siempre súper atentos por si el grupo tenía preguntas. Me encantó el tour!

Very enjoyable time and lots to learn! Vegetarian options were limited, but did include mushrooms and cactus tacos. I was able to enjoy a delicious agua fresca tamarindo! Thankful for the fun activity!

I loved taco tasting throughout the city and this was amazing. When I went back to Mexico City, I definitely went back to some of the places we had stopped at during this tour

David and Rebeca were amazing guides, accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Mexican food. Their deep knowledge of the cuisine and its history made the experience so much richer than just eating; we got real context behind every dish. They took us to incredible spots we never would have found on our own as tourists; true hidden gems. The evening was extremely well spent, blending great food with a fascinating overview of Mexican culture and history. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to go beyond the typical tourist spots and really discover Mexico City’s food scene.

Alexia was a great tacos guide! We had some really delicious tacos which we wouldn’t have tried on our own. I like her emphasis on authenticity and eating where ordinary Mexicans would eat. Try the tacos!

Amanda brought me to three places to try tacos and much more. Really liked how she explained the different types of tacos in the first stop and how it works eg cheese extra charge, free lime and salsa to add and its opening hours if I want to visit again. The second stall was nice where I tried Horchata. It tasted fresh and seats in that stall are comfortable. Last stop was Tortas Al Fuego which has really good pastor tacos. All good selections and really appreciate Amanda’s explanation of all the food and a bit of insight if mexico outside of the food.

The evening taco walking tour was wonderful. We went to three places with different styles of food. In our group, one was vegetarian, two did not eat red meat and one ate all types of food. All were accommodated. The guides gave excellent information and were very helpful. This was so much fun I would do it again!

David did a really great job not only showing us awesome taco places, teaching us food history but also gave us a lot of real nice historical input on the food and Mexicós history it self. We felt really comfortable with him and enjoyed the taco tour. We can totally recommend this tour if you are not only in to food but also learning about history.
