I was recommended by a friend to book this tour and I am glad I did, Dragan was a nice guide and brought us to popular landmarks including tiny hidden gems in the town. If you’re going to Ohrid, I honestly can’t recommend Peter enough. From the first minute, he made everything feel easy and natural—super friendly, kind, and genuinely welcoming. It didn’t feel like a formal tour at all, more like walking around the city with a local who really loves it and wants you to love it too. What I appreciated most is how he shared his knowledge. He knows so much, but he explains things in a very simple, interesting way, so you never feel overwhelmed or bored. Because of him, I didn’t just “see” Ohrid—I saw it differently, noticed things I would have completely missed, and understood the city on a deeper level. You can tell he really cares about giving people a great experience, and it shows in everything he does. I’ve had quite a few guides in different places, and Peter is honestly one of the best. I’d recommend him to anyone without hesitation—100%. If you get the chance, go with him. You’ll be glad you did.

He is very knowledgeable, and provides a very detailed and in-depth description of the history, culture and politics of Ohrid, and North Macedonia, and the broader Bulkin region. He speaks English really well for those who are native English speakers. My wife and I would highly recommend him for walking tours of Ohrid and Bitola.

Peter was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgable, highly professional and an overall cool guy to be learning about the city from. Anyone who wants to actually see Lake Ohrid and learn more about this country, who better to do it than an actual professor of subject. Petar (Dragan) was an excellent communicator and tour guide. As a university professor he was extremely knowledgeable about Ohrid and Balkan history and answered all of our questions with a smile. He took photos for us at every stop, told us about local foods and went the extra mile to bring us to the Bay of Bones and the Monastery of Saint Naum. We can’t recommend him enough!
