Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday, we will offer a walking tour instead on those days.
When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Marys Dolls House and the Drawings Gallery will remain open.

Due to drivers legal working hours restrictions, this tour will finish within a 2 or 3 minute walk of Gloucester Road Underground Station. This station is in Zone 1 and is three stops Eastbound on the Circle Line or the District Line to Victoria. The Piccadilly Line also runs through Gloucester Road, and is only 5 stops to Piccadilly Circus.
St. Georges Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. You will not be able to visit Queen Elizabeth IIs final resting place on a Sunday.
During the winter months an additional five rooms, known collectively as the Semi-State Rooms, are included in the visitor route.
The Semi-State Rooms at Windsor Castle are currently closed and will open later in 2024.
