I highly recommend this tour in case you want to explore a new district and know about it’s history. And if you want to taste different typical Brazilian food and drinks. Amazing!
The tour guide Eduardo will give you lots of tips and answer all your questions. He will show you a lovely non-touristic island as well.

First day in Rio and really enjoyed this walking tour. Learned so much about the history of Rio and saw many beautiful buildings. Guide was terrific. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the experience. Eduardo showed us a variety of dishes we wouldn´t think ordering by ourselves. Barra is a trendy, but residential off-the-beaten track neighborhood, so it felt authentic and really safe to walk during the night time. The islands and the ferry to get there (it is a very quick, but fun boat ride) also added a plus to the tour. Overall, a great night out!
