Free walking tours in San José

Yo envié al tour a 2 visitantes, con anterioridad ya había enviado a otro y todos han quedado encantados con Jules, con su profesionalismo y con su forma tan amena de dirigir al grupo.

Jules es muy responsable. A pesar de ser la única persona que asistió al tour, no lo canceló y los fun facts que me brindó super interesantes

David was a fun and engaging tour guide. He is a great communicator (speaks many languages!) and provided a lot of curiosities and comments about the culture of Costa Rica which really paint a live picture of the country's identity, without going too deep on historical trivia (so definitely not boring at all). He managed our large group (around 12 people) incredibly well on the busy streets of downtown San José. The tour does take over 3 hours, with two stops for shopping (souvenirs, coffee and chocolate) - the stores were good and had reasonable prices, and we were offered free tastings of ice cream, coffee and chocolate. We had a great time with David and definitely recommend this walking tour! My only reservation: this should not be advertised as a "free walking tour", and GuruWalk's statement that "you decide what to pay" is not accurate, as they ask for a minimum value of 15 USD per person. However this was communicated clearly and in advance, which we really appreciate (and the tour was in fact absolutely worth 15-20 USD per person).

Very professional run tour

Jules was absolutely fantastic - we learned a ton, enjoyed incredible snacks, and Jules' kindness made our entire tour even better :)

Jules was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, pointing out many different places for different interests and giving us many interesting facts about the city. I really enjoyed this tour and would strongly recommend it to others :)

Jules is a great guide, well prepared for any situation! He made us dip into the culture of Costa Rica on several levels and even provided us with food and drinks. Very considerate about anyone's individual needs. We did only little walking but saw and learnt a lot! Thanks for the great experience. Definitely recommendable!

David gave us so much information about Costa Rica as well as San Jose. He was engaging throughout. At the end of the tour he also gave us a very good recommendation for food and showed us where the restaurant was. It was a well organised tour.

Eine super Tour! Sehr kurzweilig und interessant, lustig und unterhaltsam. Die besuchten Orte und die Info waren sehr spannend. David hat zudem einen super sympathischen Stil und ein gutes Tempo.

A comprehensive tour of the central core of the city. Our guide was great.

I do recommend Jules, he tells many interesting stories, lets us try local fruits that we never heard of. Very interesting.

Jules is truly amazing and a great host in addition to being an awesome guide. His tour is focused on culture, history, food and fun facts. He keeps the tour pace right and makes every participant feel special. His food stops were well paced and his hosting us to taste a lot of local food in a park in picnic style was inimitable.
