Ciao viaggiatori! Benvenuto a San José! Mi chiamo Giulio. Sono nato qui in Costa Rica e cresciuto negli Stati Uniti. L'esperienza di entrambe le culture ha ampliato profondamente le mie prospettive del mondo in modo significativo. Con più di 15 anni di vita in Costa Rica, posso davvero dire di aver adottato lo stile di vita "Pura Vida", dalle escursioni nella giungla all'esperienza della musica e del cibo unici del paese. E come avido lettore e appassionato di cultura, è stato un viaggio affascinante per conoscere la storia che circonda questa meravigliosa città. Sarà un piacere essere la tua guida! Sono stato un insegnante ESL per molti anni, quindi conosco il valore di mantenere un gruppo impegnato e interessato.
I honestly wasn’t expecting much and just wanted something to do while waiting for a friend to join me in San José, but I ended up having a great time on this tour. It was interesting to learn about the history of Costa Rica and important places around the city, and everyone on the tour was incredibly friendly. Jules also provided snacks and beverages, which was really appreciated. There were plenty of opportunities for clean bathroom breaks as well. We even went out to get empanadas with Jules after the tour ended! The only downside was that the tour lasted longer than the indicated time, but that seemed to be due to the rain slowing us down.
Jules is an outstanding guide. He shared interesting information, engaged with everyone and had some unexpected delights that enhanced the experience. I highly recommend Jules for this walking tour.
Jules is very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and San Jose. His English is perfect and he spoke at a proper speed, giving us lots and lots of info about the country and the city. He also arranged for two breaks for us. One with a drink and one for a picnic. For the picnic, he prepared various fruits and freshly baked bread. I highly recommend Guru and Jules to anyone visiting San Jose. It was my first time taking a Guru walking tour and it was better than I expected.
