If you don't mind walking and hearing information at the same time; this is a good tour for you. If you prefer to walk to a spot, then have some information and then walk along I wouldn't recommend this walking tour. From the beginning to the end you are getting information through the radio you receive. I didn't mind, but if you prefer to walk in silence this isn't the tour for you.
Besides that: the tour is a lot about the horse racing and not that much background information about the city and his history.

We love walking tours to initiate us to new cities. This one was no exception. Julie was great andveasy to understand given her American upbringing. Siena is well worth discovering. My spouse and I had to share a monitor with 2 headphones, which was frustrating at times.

Julie was wonderful! So informative and loved her knowledge of Siena, stories and history. She kept the tour interesting and was so nice when we asked for directions to our next stop to walk us there herself so we wouldn’t get lost. She was a great tour guide and we loved the tour
