Free Walking Tours through the Alternative Tirana

Great tour with lots of insights into the development of Tirana for the future. Street Art part was very interesting to learn some of the background behind the artists and what they painted. So many things that we had walked by and not noticed until they were pointed out on the tour. I would highly recommend

The guide was super friendly and passionate about his tour. Great English and he knew a lot about architecture, history, politics and the best part ART. I think it was a great way to discover the city thru a different lens. We did a history tour and this one and it was perfect. I would say, if u can only do one, this is worth it. You get a better understanding of the city without having to remember all the historical background.

Erin was very passionate about sharing the stories behind each art and building and equally making sure everyone, including young kids remained engaged and entertained. All in all, a very positive and enthusiastic experience!!

Erin's tour was a mix of new architecture and street art. As he said, 'Tirana is a playground for new architects'. The new buildings, designed by architects from across Europe, are amazing and Erin was hugely informative and interesting. He showed us masses of street art: murals, graffiti, stickers, things we would not have noticed without him, and again was hugely informative and infectiously enthusiastic. He was generous with his time, responsive to all our queries, and brought Tirana alive for us. A brilliant tour guide! Highly recommended. Sarah and Monica

Erind was an excellent host for our tour! He knew a lot of facts and was able to answer most questions. This was a great way to look forward for the new era in Albania especially when coupled with a history tour prior. We spent the previous day wandering around and gawking at the vast array of architecture in the city and then it was great to learn more about those buildings today. There was no pressure to tip just a reminder of the model of this type of tour. We would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved this tour, I have done many of these walking tours all over the world but I would have to say that this was one of the best I have been in. Very informative about Albanian culture and modernisation of the buildings mixed with some stunning street art. Blessings from Scotland

Although he gave us a little too many details about some of the buildings shown on the tour, Erin was great in telling us about various art projects around the city and pointing out small interesting details everywhere. Recommended to architecture and art lovers.

Great tour. You will not only learn about the street scene but also begin to understand all the new construction. After the tour you will begin to notice the variations in street signs and all the various stickers that make up the Tirana street scene.

Our guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, a really great insight to the street art. He really explained the development of Tirana and how the new buildings are important for the future of Albania.
