This is a very political tour. Not much information on the history or origins of Santiago. I didn’t hear anything about how the city was formed or why it was the way it is today. It felt like the guide was going on a biased political rant for most of the tour expressing his personal views. The entire tour felt very polarized as it was often shared left or right wing. There was a few good stops which shared the history of the military coup and we got to take the subway. The last stop about the UN building was interesting and I would not have known to go without the guide. Guide was able to answer all our questions and gave a few good stories. I would go again but prepare myself to listen to lots of politics in advance.
