About the tour

The Tribes Tours of Galway are built on the experience of our guides and feature our favorite aspects of the city. We strive to show you the best of Galway, with some historical facts, stories and of course tips, all in order to make sure you enjoy your visit to the fullest. Whether it is on the Walking Tour, to discover the history of the City of the Tribes, or the Pub crawl, to experience the nightlife, we are sure you will soon understand why we love Galway so much.

We always start the tour with an introduction to Irish history, so that everyone can get some context about Ireland, and Galway specifically.

Then, we walk through the city, to have a look at some of the notable buildings that mark the past and present of Galway.

The Pub crawl, on the other hand, is not free, but you will get a discount if you followed the Walking tour earlier in the day!

We took the tour with Emma, and she was absolutely amazing! Funny but concise about the information, she gave us the better context-history of Ireland that we've made in our trip (Galway was our last stop and we understood things here that we've missed from other tours around the country). A really passionate girl that you can tell she Loves what she's doing! Thank you for that :)
