Our tour begins in the charming Barrio de Chimalistac, known for its picturesque cobblestone streets and beautiful traditional houses. We will continue to the imposing La Bombilla Park, symbol of the Mexican Revolution 🇲🇽 where we will reflect on the past and present of the country.

Not far from there, you will find the old Colegio de las Carmelitas where we will enter San Angel and its beautiful streets full of art and tradition.

Finally, we will arrive at Ciudad Universitaria🏫👨‍🎓, the intellectual heart of Mexico. This university campus, considered a UNESCO heritage 🌎, is famous for its huge murals that portray the history, ideals and culture of the country. This was kind of a boring tour, way too much history (so if you are very into history maybe that’s good…). We spent way too much time at each stop. When we got to the central square of the neighborhood it was super cute and we wished we had just cake without a tour to explore the shops on our own.
