For six years I worked as a teacher in Buenos Aires. Now I live in Rome and study its fascinating history. I hope to convey to visitors what has captivated me in this imposing city!
On this tip-based tour in Spanish we will visit the most essential and photographed points of interest in the center of classical, medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Rome.
The group will have around 15 participants , so we can enjoy a more personalized tour.
We will begin our tour in Piazza Barberini , where we will appreciate the Fountain of the Tritons , the work of the great Gian Lorenzo Bernini; we will visit the famous Trevi Fountain ; We will be amazed by the Pantheon of Agrippa, ancient temple of all the gods; We will pass by the Italian Parliament , the Temple of Hadrian , Egyptian obelisks and the Column of Marcus Aurelius that narrates the battles won by the emperor; We will enter the luxurious Alberto Sordi shopping gallery ; We will pass by the medieval Basilica of San Eustaquio , where no Roman has wanted to get married; We will culminate in the iconic Piazza Navona , famous for the fountains, sculptures and buildings it brings together, and built on top of no less than an ancient stadium for sports competitions and gladiatorial combats.
This tour is essential to learn about the history, art and legends of Rome in the most entertaining way and like no one has ever told you before.
We will meet at the Fountain of the Tritons, which is in Piazza Barberini (“Barberini” metro station on line A). Our guide named Diego will be waiting for you with a banner that says “TOUR in Spanish”.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
