Hi, i am Panos, have been working in the tourism industry and just like you i love to travel. I also like to talk about my favourite subjects, History, Philosophy, Politics, Art & Sciences. Having been in more than 30 countries, i know that what is left after each journey is the beauty of the places and landmarks that we visit but also the stories about them. Journeys would be half their value without learning them, so i would like to share some interesting stories about my birthplace. Oh, i should not forget. This tour includes also questions! Questions set by the famous Greeks you obviously have heard and i would love to hear your own replies and talk about them! Look forward to start our journey.

This walk was outstanding! Panos is a treasure chest of information and entertaining stories. Be prepared for about 3 and a half hours of easy walking ( sun hat and water advised) and 2500 years of history and more stories. Highly recommended. Like being on a stroll with a favorite professor.

Thanks Pat, my best regards to you, your husband and Jim!

The title of the tour sets the expectations that it is not your usual touristy tour but rather more intellectual one with full of insights into Greek history, politics and philosophy with connections to our daily lives. But Panos’s tour exceeds the expectations as he is an amazing guide with a passion for his city and an eye for curiosity! Thanks for the amazing 4hours Panos!

Best tour ever! Panos not only told the facts of the sites we visited but he engaged in a meaningful philosophical discussion. What did these places mean for democracy? How did ancient greek history reflect on our global condition ans culture? I find our discussion very insightful and profound, and i'll treasure these beautiful insights.

the walk was not strenous at all, and he was very thoughtful and keeping under the shade.

definitely its the highlight of my greek trip.

book this tour if you want info beyond wikipedia and google search and you want to keep beyond pretty pictures.

thank you panos for the eye-opening time!
