Elena was beyond helpful!! My family with a yound child joined her tour and she made it quite interesting for us, taking care to involve our child as well with snippets of engaging facts. We found her to be very knowledgeable.

On my first day in Moscow I took a tour with Elena. The tour became one of the biggest highlights of the trip. Elena was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, Russia's history, the architecture, the environment and current social perceptions and views on the area itself. She was able to discuss areas of the tour that interested me in greater depth and gave a really immersive and captivating description of what we saw and experienced. She was able to tell me when places opened and closed and when I should visit in the city. She really cares about the comfort and interests of the people she guides and it really shows. She was able to give recommendations and offered insight into Russian tourism and food. It is because of this, that I was able to experience some pretty incredible places even days after our tour together ended. I recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative, enjoyable and exciting way to experience Russia! All the best on your journey!

The tour was very interesting and enjoyable. I liked that it wasn't only about the famous tourist facts, but also included history and stories about everyday life, which made it much more engaging. The route through the city center was well planned and easy to follow. Igor was funny, very accommodating, and happy to answer questions. We also got many great recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit after the tour. I definitely recommend this tour!

I really appreciated the specific details Igor pointed out, such as the air vents and the heavy doors used to seal the shelter in case of a nuclear threat, as well as the fascinating historical background—like why the stations were built for such massive capacity and how terrified the lead engineers were when Stalin inspected their work. While you can easily walk through the metro by yourself, you would miss out on so much context without a guide. Igor's English is good, and I highly recommend him 10/10.

It was my first ever English tour in Moscow, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Not only did it live up to my expectations, it exceeded them! Elena did a fantastic job of organizing everybody (what a cool trick with your umbrella, btw), so that my friend and I didn't feel lost. Elena has such a bubbly and sparkling personality, and her stories were top-notch, I bet we all have learned loads of facts. I hope Elena will come up with more tours, so that I can attend and bring more friends! Kudos, Elena!

Alexander was a great guide. Even in heavy snow he still showed us around the city with full energy. It was only two of us on the tour, but he still continued the tour and explained everything nicely. He was friendly and patient. He also introduced us to Raf coffee, which was a nice local experience. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended!

It has been a long time since I attended a tour like this. Due to the current situation, it is a small group and I enjoyed it a lot. Alex introduced many historical facts to us and it was easy to grasp for me that even though I did not know much. Alex was attentive, friendly and knowledgable, I look forward to visit once more in the summer.

Alex was a great instructor — engaging and knowledgeable. My only comment concerns the communication with the office before the tour. We registered a few days in advance, but only the evening before the tour did we receive a message from Ksenia explaining that, due to the political situation (and therefore the lack of tourists), there was a fixed price per person for this tour. While I completely understand the difficult circumstances, I think this should be mentioned as soon as someone registers — just be upfront and say it might happen. That way, people won’t feel they’re being misled. In the end, I believe the price was fair, and the tour itself was excellent.
