JC was great! He was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. You could genuinely feel his passion for history and his country while he’s conducting the tour. This is one of the few, if not the only, tour we saw that also discusses the Muslim history of Spain. We almost cancelled as we wanted to rest a bit more that morning but soooooo glad we didn’t! Probably the best guide we have had.

Alex was extremely informative and welcoming. He made an effort to bring all into the experience. His presentation by word, actual visual and photographs gave life to Valencia’s life and history. This was not my first Guru tour but it ranks among the best.

This was the best activity to do to really get to know the city. Walking around the city allows you to learn more about the intricacies of the city rather than being driven around. I don’t believe that trying to find the information yourself and walking round the highlights without accompanying commentary makes you appreciate what Valencia offers. Two hours flew by and I would say it’s the perfect amount of time. A lot of the history revolves around the power struggle to capture and hold Valencia, as well and the formation of Spain through different tribes of people and it’s so interesting. Spains history is incredibly rich and I think the tour demonstrates the cities historical worth really well. At the end, we were given a comprehensive list of recommendations on where to get Valencia’s infamous paella too so, I would fully recommend.

Sonia tiene una gran personalidad y se nota rápidamente que le apasiona lo que hace, incluso en pleno verano y con el calor que lo caracteriza, se mantuvo alegre y atenta en dar un buen tour.
