We are two official guides and we came from two different parts of the world, Argentina and Italy, but we are accompanied by a passion for art and history. In particular here in Rome we find our perfect place starting to do guided tours around the entire city. I Mercedes, I have been doing the work of tourist guide for many years. I am a lawyer with two specializations who arrived in Rome and fell in love with its history and art. Giulia is passionate about art and architecture, and is finishing her career at the University of Arcquitectura in Rome. We met 5 years ago, and we started studying together to become official guides, and since then our passion became a job. We consider ourselves very lucky because with this work we can share with people the secrets, history and all our knowledge, about this amazing city. If you are interested to know Rome with us, we are waiting for you in our tour.

Tour description

One of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the colosseum. This tour is a trip in ancient Rome. Rome is an open-air museum so it is not always necessary to pay a ticket, the ruins live together with the Romans. We will visit from outside the colosseum, then we will walk together the streets of the imperial forums that divide a giant archaeological area in two. On one side, we will find the ruins of the Roman forum, public area of the Rome of the republic, on the other side you will see the ruins of the imperial forums built by the emperors of Rome. At the end we will climb the Capitoline Hill, an ancient hill where the Romans located the most important temple: the temple of Jupiter. Hill that today houses the old city hall of Rome projected by Michelangelo in 1500.
