The tour took us to the most important places regarding the war in Sarajevo. We took the tour with Merima, who was an amazing guide. A Sarajevo native herself, she not only knows a lot of historical and political facts but also gave us insights what it was like growing up during the war and dealing with it afterwards. Despite its depressing topic, Merima managed to keep the tour light and was very open and fun to talk to. Since we were only a small group, it was very intimate and it felt like a group of friends walking through the city. The tour is definitely a must, if you want to know more about the recent history in Sarajevo!

We had a great tour with Merima. For an outstander the war is complex and she was able to explain really clear what happened. Merima speaks perfect English and is easy to listen to. The topic of the tour is very sad and the locations tell a story more than being visually interesting, yet we would recommend taking it for sure if you want to know more about the war. We will definitely remember!
