Free Walking Tour-Welcome to Berlin: A tour to get to know Berlin

In this FREE TOUR through the center of Berlin you will know the most representative places of the German capital, as well as its history, its culture and all those events that marked the Berlin idiosyncrasy forever. An ideal tour to welcome you to this amazing city, where culture, art and history intermingle at every step! We will begin our tour under the gigantic TV tower, very close to the famous Alexanderplatz, the Berlin Times Square. Then we will walk to the old district of Nikolaiviertel, the place where Berlin was born. We will cross the river and tour the island of museums, as well as the history of that imperial Berlin. We will arrive at the Bebelplatz and know the details of those black years of Nazism and how they marked life in interwar Germany. Then we will continue to what many consider the most beautiful square in Berlin and from there nonstop to the famous checkpoint charlie, the old border between communist and capitalist Berlin. We will continue towards the remains of the Berlin wall that is still standing and from there we will walk by the building of the old luftwaffe, one of the few buildings built by Nazism and still standing in the German capital. From here we only have to go through the place where Hitler's personal bunker, then go through the mausoleum to the victims of the Holocaust and finish our tour in front of the grand Brandenburg gate!
