Hello, we are Renata Uribe and Álvaro Cortés, it will be a pleasure to be your tour guides in our beautiful city of Berlin. We are both very passionate about the art and history that flood this capital, so enjoy when we tell you the details of what happened in these streets. We will talk about the 5 museums that the island owns, we will see the facade of the old museum, the old national art gallery and the Bode museum, we will also visit the James Simon Gallery. Then we will go to the "New Guard" where Kollwitz's piety is found, a sculpture that recalls the damage caused by war. We will walk along Boulevard Unter den Linden where we will see the State Opera, Humboldt University and we will arrive at Bebels Square where we will talk about the burning of books in 1933 by the Nazi party. We will go to GendarmenMart considered one of the most beautiful squares in Germany where the twin churches and the Konserthaus are located. We will visit Check Point Charlie an exact replica of an old checkpoint to cross the Berlin wall, here we will also see the Travi museum, we will walk to a segment of the Berlin wall and tell stories of how some tried to cross it. We will show the former Nazi air ministry and the place where Hitler's chancellery and Bunker used to be. We will talk about the Holocaust and cross the memorial to the Jews. We will stroll through Tiergarten (former hunting ground for the Prussian kings) to reach the Reichtag, a huge German parliament building. We will finish the tour by passing under the famous Brandenburg Gate. We wait for you :) :)
