(*) THE ART OF GUIDING PROFESSIONALISM, EXPERIENCE, EXCELLENCE AND HISTORICAL RIGOR. Bilbao Free Tour Experience is a project that was born as a response to the crisis caused in the tourism sector by the pandemic as a result of the collaboration of several professionals. Their team is not made up of amateurs or students, but rather PROFESSIONAL TOUR GUIDES, the first to bring the free tour model (reverse box office / free donation) to Bilbao, a once-exclusive service. Our work environment covers the entire Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. Diplomas in Tourism and Bachelors in Art History, we are dedicated to disseminating the artistic, cultural and natural heritage of the entire territory and its network of most important public and private museums such as the Guggenheim Museum or the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. We have extensive experience of 20 years in the field of tourism receiving public from more than 80 countries. We offer tours in Spanish, English, Basque, Italian and German. The last three in payment mode. Our tours are characterized by the depth of their information, they are exhaustive, well documented from a historical and cultural point of view and are aimed at an intellectually demanding public. Through our work we propose a series of initiatives for the care of the city, promoting the interaction of tourists with commerce and local culture. About the Tour

(*)(**) Discover with us the two great transformations of Bilbao: one that everyone talks about and another that few know about.

A walk through the Bilbao of some of its architectural landmarks of yesterday and today.

Brief description of the tour:

A walk through the Bilbao of three centuries: XIX, XX and XXI. A mosaic of modern and contemporary architecture like few others in Europe.

In 1876, involved in an unprecedented development caused by the industrial boom, Bilbao approved the project of what we now popularly know as the Ensanche. Dozens of architects, mostly Basque, but influenced by the international trends of the time, and under the motto "act local, think global", gave shape to one of the most elegant urban fabrics in Europe.

More than a century later, the inauguration of the Guggenheim Museum and its overwhelming impact placed Bilbao at the world center of contemporary architecture and unleashed the construction of dozens of projects and infrastructures designed by some of the best architects of our era.
