You will learn the key entry info, the tour is excellent to take on your first day in Istanbul or if you missed the 101 of the old town before. Fatih is very helpful with other tips as well.

Overall the tour was decent. The guide was nice and honest , and started exactly on time. Some time was lost waiting at the little Aya Sofya mosque waiting for the prayers to be concluded. Although there was good explanation about the origins of the Ottoman empire and Istanbul, I wish there was more explanation about the 600 years thereafter. A lot of explanation went into explaining Islam and the inner design and functioning of mosques which somehow didn’t fit into the description of ‘Introduction to Istanbul’.

My friend was visiting me in Istanbul for the weekend (only 2 days) and I wanted her to see some of the famous places. The tour was a brilliant introduction and made her trip worthwhile. Enes was a great guide, extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area and I would highly recommend!!

A fantastic experience. We really enjoyed the tour. We feel the beginning was a bit so slow with maybe a bit too much information but we really enjoyed the visit to the carpet shop and cistern below - a real hidden gem - and the visit to Hagia Sophia. Overall a fantastic experience and we got way more than we bargained for.
