Grazia’s walk gave you great information about the populations who inhabited Naples and also included some modern day facts about what the city offers.

Grazia è stata fantastica. Ci ha parlato della sua città e condotto in luoghi che avevamo già visto, ma ci ha arricchito di notizie e altri particolari. Consigliatissima!

My friend and I did the tour with Grazia on Tuesday the 28th of June. We were welcomed by Grazia and a few minutes after 5 we started our walk around Napoli. Grazia took time in the beginning to briefly discuss the history of the city, and then pointed to us spots of interests and shared interesting information about the city. The group being small was definitely a plus, and Grazia tried to make sure that everyone was feeling comfortable during our walk. Nonetheless, the tour can be significantly improved, both in terms of content and planning. Regarding content, I would definitely appreciate a more thorough discussion on the sights we stopped (e.g., the ancient forum or the greek aquadect). Additionally, I think it would be beneficial to include some restaurant suggestions as well as day trips available in the area. Napoli is a city with a rich culinary tradition and located in the vicinity of other beautiful destinations (e.g. Pompeii, Procida, Capri), and I felt that this was not adequately reflected on the tour. Yet, I must point out that Grazia was always happy to answer any questions posed to her, so if you feel like you are missing something feel free to approach her during the walk and ask for her insights. Regarding planning, there is quite much room for improvement. The tour lasted 2 hours instead of 90 minutes. This did not significantly affect our plans afterwards, but I guess can be an issue if someone has reservations or something else arranged right after the tour. Another downside was that we very frequently stopped in shops, which I believe significantly disrupted the tour. I guess this can be a good chance to combine shopping with a tour, but this is not something I am personally interested in. Perhaps a short coffee/toilet break halfway through the tour would have been more beneficial. Finally, as at the end of the tour we headed towards a castle by cable car (Grazia was kind enough to help us with buying our tickets and getting us on top of the hill), we were disappointed to find out that the castle was already closed. Although there was another beautiful viewpoint nearby, maybe it would be better to clarify that the castle is closed in advance. Overall, I believe that although Grazia's passion and kindness were evident throughout the tour and we had the opportunity to learn some interest facts about the city, the tour was far from being the highlight of out trip. I am certain though that with certain improvements, this tour may excel.
