With yellow t-shirts and yellow umbrellas, we will be waiting for you from 9:30am to 11am in the morning and from 2:30pm to 3:15pm during the afternoon. English, French, and Spanish are the languages we provide our tours. Every day of the week during each month of the year our yellow umbrellas will be shining under the beautiful blue sky of Lisbon. Our official guides will tell you everything about the history, curiosities, legends, tales and, of course, the famous monuments of Lisbon in four different neighborhoods. Discover the two most famous areas in Lisbon! Beginning in one of the most iconic places of Lisbon, the cultural hub of Portuguese poets and artists, our guide will explain the history of Chiado and interesting stories of the famous literary figures of Portuguese history. Chiado is also one of the newest neighborhoods of Lisbon as it was almost completely destroyed in the 1755 earthquake and is now the most cosmopolitan and affluent areas of the city. You will then walk the streets of the Barrio Alto, a quiet and charming neighborhood during the day, which turns lively as soon as the sun goes down. The Barrio Alto is probably best known for its vibrant nightlife, however, our expert guides will also explain the history and development of this up-and-coming area! You will also pass by Bica and wander its steep streets, (where you can take the all-important postcard-perfect yellow tram photograph!), before ending the tour at the Miradouro de Santa Catarina. Let us show you why the Barrio Alto and Chiado are the capital’s hot-spots!
