Tour description

Discover a city inside Mexico City, a tour around one of the biggest Universities and the oldest University in Latin America: tales of art, literature, heritage, and future.

UNAM campus is a sight to behold, surrounded with work of art of the most important Latin American artist, covering each building, the beautiful islands of the central campus. And the stories that have taken place in this historic school at the very south of the city.

Discover the colonial origin of this institution up until today.

You will get to know:
At the central campus, the iconic central library and the history represented all over it.

The rectory building and its messages for future generations.

The medicine and architecture school murals and artistic movements.

The olympic stadium
front side and its history.

Historic sites
and tales from México's 90's student movements.

Walk around the what and how the last century inspired the Mexican youth culture and future art, literature, and political outcome.

And a plus, lovely dogs running happily, since this is a very nice spot to take a walk with your furry friend or to watch them play around.

*Remember to bring comfortable shoes to walk, water and a hat or some shade for the sun.
*Take your precautions, there are not much restrooms near.

Really enjoyed this tour! We were given very thoughtful explanations of the art, history, and organization of the university. I didn't know much at all about UNAM or this part of the city, so it was definitely worth it to see and learn these new thing
