Juan Ignacvio is Official Tourism Guide of Castilla y León (CL / 000769). Tireless traveler, lover of Art History and tireless global traveler and Castilian-Leonese in particular. I am fascinated by Romanesque art, Civil Architecture and Sacred Art in particular. I love showing the city in which I live.
An opportunity, beyond the tourist one, to discover together and observe the corners, buildings and landscapes of Segovia, reading (perhaps listening?) what some writers (The Archpriest of Hita, Sta. Teresa de Jesús, San Juan de la Cruz, Miguel de Cervantes, Francisco de Quevedo, Antonio Machado and María Zambrano ) said about them.
Fleeing from the traditional tourist visit , although we visit the main monuments of Segovia, it is a pleasant and fun way to visit the city . The order that will be followed is not chronological, but that of a walk through the city with the help of universal writers, who spoke or lived in it. It is not a literature class, it is a unique opportunity (only offered in summer) to get to know the city from another point of view.
The tour starts at the Aqueduct and ends at the Puerta de Santiago (next to the Alcázar ).
We will visit :
A perfect complement to our World Heritage route. Small groups, only available in summer.
