Hello I am João! I was born in Lisbon and I have lived here ever since! Despite being an engineer student I have always been interested in history, special Portuguese history! In my life I have had an amount of different experientes! I have played several sports like horse ridding, rugby and skiing; I visit a few countries in Europe and África; I have participate in a sjmmer camp in England, in Bradfield College; I have travelled with my friends; I have showed my city -Lisbon- to friends and tourist; and many other things! I can't wait to show you my city, its iconic monuments and streets, its astonishing views and river Tagus from different spots and perspective! Looking forward to meet you!

Tour description

Welcome to Lisbon! - #SeeLisbon

Traveling means learning and relaxing, meeting new cultures and people! By traveling we give ourselves the chance of being in those places which we have read about in beautiful books and see those magnificent views that impressed the greatest artists along time!

In Lisbon, we will see historical buildings (castles, churches, convents, and palaces. Some of them were built before the earthquake of 1755, such as Igreja de São Roque, Sé Catedral de Lisboa, Convento do Carmo, and the historical Castelo de São Jorge!

We will cross the most famous streets and neighbourhoods like Praça Luís de Camões, Rua Augusta, Terreiro do Paço, and many others!

In this tour, we will see the Tejo River from different points of the city, including the place from where Portuguese ships departed on worldwide journeys!

This tour will also take us to the highest viewpoints of the city - Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Miradouro da Senhora do Monte!

The tour will start in Praça Luís de Camões and it will take 2'30 hours.

Walking through the city is one of the best ways to learn about its culture and history!
