Discover Zaragoza, Millenary City - Free Tour

Hey, do you feel like traveling through time

2,000 years ago, on the banks of the Ebro, Zaragoza was born, a millennial city.  Through its streets and monuments, we will uncover stories, anecdotes, and characters often unknown even to the people of Zaragoza.

If you choose us, you will stroll through the most charming streets of one of the largest protected historic centers in Spain with two locals (and official tour guides), who will give you all the keys to make the most of your stay in no time.
The best way to discover Zaragoza in an entertaining and friendly manner!

The journey begins:

  • Next to the fountain in San Pedro Nolasco square, from there to the Roman city is just a step; we will go to the Roman Theater of Caesaraugusta, a silent witness to all the eras of this city.

  • Do you know what the Aragonese Mudejar style (World Heritage) has to do with Zaragoza's Muslim past? We'll tell you at the Cathedral of the Savior and the Magdalena Tower.

  • Between cathedrals, we will cross the most Renaissance area, where we will see the Royal Maestranza, the Huarte Palace, and the Lonja—two examples of the more than 200 palaces this city once had!

  • And we arrive at the Pilar, an immense square and immense basilica that will be challenging to cover due to its size and the amount of heritage and history it holds. A place where Roman Zaragoza meets the modern.

  • We will go up Alfonso street, the main artery of the old city, and wander until we reach the Justice square, one of the most beautiful in the entire historic center.

  • We will end the tour in the area of the Emperor Augustus statue, where the past and present converge with the Roman walls and the modernist Central Market, among other various curiosities.

This tour is perfect both for the local who wants to discover more about their city and for the tourist who wants to make the most of their trip.
