Hello, I'm Fajar. I'm a laid-back guy with a passion for showing travelers the vibrant city of Jakarta. For over 5 years, I've been guiding walking tours that take you through fascinating spots, introduce you to authentic local cuisines, and let you experience the diverse modes of Jakarta's transportations. Along the way, we dive into Indonesia's rich and expansive histories. What I love most about these tour is the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and share the culture of my city with them.

The itineraries of my walking tour are :
- First of all we meet at the Lobby of My Capsule Jakarta - Batavia in Cikini area Central Jakarta at 11am, there is a cafe so you can also order and enjoy the coffee or tea or matcha, and then we walk to Cikini Train Station and of course I will share with you the stories of what Cikini area is all about😉, then we take the Commuter Line train from Cikini train station to Jakarta kota train station. I will collect each Guest Rp.10.000 to top up my Transport Card before we take the train at Cikini Train Station. Once we arrived at Jakarta Kota Train Station I will share with you the History of Jakarta Kota Train Station then we will walk to the Fatahillah Square to see the Old Dutch Buildings and the Dutch Architectures, and I will explain you the Dutch Colonisation Histories then make the nice group picture there.
- Second, we will walk to the Historical OldPort / Old Harbor to see the Sea View from the Small Boat and the Big old Ship and witness that the Sea Water level in Jakarta is higher than the road that means Jakarta is facing the serious Land Subsidence. I will explain you the History of the Old Port and make the nice group Pictures and videos. Then we will walk through the local neighborhood to meet and interact with some friendly local people, then we will take the Bus Transjakarta to visit Glodok Chinatown.
- Third, we will continue walk to visit the traditional Chinatown Market, enter the hidden Tao Chinese Temple, and I will provide some tasty local snacks for all of my Guests, and of course I will explain the History of the Glodok Chinatown and make some nice group pictures.
- Fourth, we will take the Commuter Line again from Jakarta Kota Station to Juanda Station to visit and enter the Istiqlal biggest Mosque in south east asia and the old Dutch Church, and I will explain the Hostories from both places and make some nice pictures.
- After we will take the Bus Transjakarta to visit the Highest Library in south east asia or the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia to go up to its 24th floor to see the Stunning view of Jakarta from its 2 Balconies. I will explain the Histories of Monument Nasional and the National Library also I will make some nice group pictures
Note : This walkingtour can be longer than 4hours depends on the Guests' walking speed, Traffic jam, Lunch stop, and the Istiqlal Mosque Schedhule's Regulation. So, feel free to leave earlier if you have something else to do.

This Jakarta Walking Tour does not have set a price, instead each person must give the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €15 / $50 per Person depending on the guest's satisfaction with the tour), or you can pay me by Paypal transferr as another alternative, here is my paypal account [email protected] 🙏😉
