Free tours a Giacarta

Fifi is a very skilled Tourguide and provided me with a perfect tour. Beside the main attractions she shared some hidden gem places in Jakarta. Would do it again anytime. Well done, Fifi! Take care!

A great way to see Jakarta. Fajar was great, would definitely recommend. Tried a number of street snacks, used the trains and buses to get around, so fun to see how to use these by ourselves.

If you’re in Jakarta, this is THE tour to take. I’ve done free walking tours all over the world, and this was hands down one of the absolute best. Fajz was an exceptional guide—incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and engaging from the start. Right after booking, he reached out on WhatsApp with helpful details and key facts, which made everything so seamless. The tour itself was fantastic from start to finish. We got a true local feel for Jakarta, navigating the city by bus, train, minibus taxi, and boat! Fajz even customized the route so we could see the harbor and Little Amsterdam, pointed out the best photo spots (and took great photos of us), and kept us refreshed with water and local snacks along the way. Visiting the mosque and seeing Jakarta from a non-touristy, authentic perspective was unforgettable. I can’t recommend Fajz enough—thank you for such an amazing experience

Panggah was excellent. We started by seeing a puppet theatre performance which Panggah participated in performing, and we learned about the making of the batik masks used in performances. Panggah explained the history of Jakarta, and we visited China Town, including a wet market, a Buddhist temple, and what was also important is that Panggah also showed some homes in a slum area to show the reality of everyday life for many people. Thank you Panggah.

Fajars was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! His English was excellent, the pace was perfect, and he was incredibly personable, kind and welcoming. Born and raised in Jakarta, he was able to answer absolutely every question we had and gave brilliant local recommendations. The local snacks along the way were delicious and added a lovely touch to the experience. If you’re visiting Jakarta, I couldn’t recommend Fajars and his walking tour enough. An absolute must-do! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thank you Fajz for your amazing walking tour! First of all, all the communications before the tour even started were super clear and the starting point was easy to find. He took care of everything for us making sure we would safely go to all of the spots on the tour. During the tour he provided us with some local snacks and some drinks which was an amazing touch. He is very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and took lovely pictures. Wow, I have never been on a walking tour like this! It was truly the best way to experience all the highlights of Jakarta in one day. It was a long day, but so much fun, with snacks and drinks to keep us fueled along the way. Fajz seamlessly led the group through many different types of transportation as we explored the busy city and had a great time learning and sharing stories. I would highly recommend!

I had a great time with Kenya, walking around Jakarta and eating delicious food! She has a passion for her culture and cousine and is the perfect person to go on a food adventure with. I learned so much about not only Indonesian food, but also Indonesian society, history and culture. She's a great conversationalist and this tour was one of the highlights of my time in Jakarta. Highly recommend!

We had a really good time on this walking tour through Jakarta with Fajz. He told us a lot about the History of Indonesia, everyday life, got to taste some amazing snacks and used every public transportation there is in Jakarta! A great tour to really experience and learn about the city with an awesome guide. It felt like a stroll with a friend, showing us his home town. Thank you very much for this experience! 😊

Fifi is a great host! I booked the tour at the last minute, so the afternoon trip wasn’t possible as she had started the tour on another time slot. However, Fifi connected me directly and asked if I would like to join the morning trip instead. It was such a kind gesture of her to be so flexible! The trip was great. Fifi shared lots of interesting history about Jakarta, and we visited some really nice places. She made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable and even bought me some water to help me cool down. Since I started the tour later than the others, she kindly went back with me to visit the mosque and cathedral. That was so thoughtful of her! In short: a great trip with a great host!

We had a fantastic food tour! Kenya asked us beforehand if there was anything specific we wanted to try and tailored the tour to our preferences to make sure we got to taste food we would really enjoy. It was just the two of us, which made the experience feel like a private tour! Apparently, group sizes can vary so you might be part of a larger group. We loved having the tour to ourselves and really enjoyed the amazing variety of food and all the different places we visited. It was a great way to discover local food and explore the city. Highly recommend!

The tour was great! It says that it has few stops, but it is not true, they cover everything. Edy was an amazing tour guide, very warm and kind, he gave me many information and made me feel very safe. Even with just being me and him, I had a great time and I feel I understand Jakarta better.

The tour with Edy was fantastic 🤩 A great way to learn about the city, the stories and the history of it. My guide was super accommodating and flexible with the stops and the time frame. He shared with me his personal experiences and made me feel safe. With him I had a chance to see places I would be scared to visit on my own.
