Running free tour in Santiago
Hi! I'm Sergio. I've been a tour guide for 5 years, but I still feel like every tour is like my first one. I believe a walking tour is not only about dates or names of buildings and statues, but about discovering what these places tell us about the history and culture of a city, so as a guide this is what I like to study and share with tourists. My tours are a mixture of facts and anecdotes to make you learn and enjoy yourself at the same time.
Tour description
Why walk when you can take a running tour? This activity is aimed at those who never stop running, even when they are traveling.
We will run 10 km through the most iconic buildings in the old center and the Yungay neighborhood. The tour is around 90 minutes at a steady pace and with some stops for photos.
The tour covers the following sights:
- Quinta Normal Park
- Memory Museum
- Street art in Yungay
- Plaza Brasil, La Moneda
- Plaza de Armas
- Saint Augustine Church
- Stock Market Exchange building
- Santa Lucia Hill
- Lastarria neighborhood.
A great way to see Santiago's landmark and start the day with a great workout.

I'll be in front of the Human Rights Museum wearing a T-shirt, shorts and my running shoes.
How much does this tour cost?
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
