Tanzanian culture, vibrant markets, chic restaurants, unseen attractions, museums, and much more
Our starting point will be Shoppers, the town's largest supermarket on our tour. We'll see a variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, bureaus de change, and ATMs near the supermarket once we arrive.
We will also spend time at the Arusha Cultural Heritage Center, which houses the past and present of Tanzania's 120-plus tribes in one compound. The collection includes carvings, gemstones, antiquities, apparel, and literature.
We'll start walking up the road from there, passing by the central market.
It's a vibrant market with fruits, vegetables, and kitchen supplies.
If you want to purchase something, keep in mind that the price is usually negotiable.
Following that, we'll take a stroll through the Maasai Market, where you can find a variety of beautifully handcrafted items.
People sell bracelets, chains, and rings, as well as paintings, coasters, bowls, dolls, and anything else they can think of.
If you want to buy a small gift for your friends at home, this is the place to go.
Finally, we will introduce you to the area surrounding the Clock Tower, which is said to be the heart of Arusha.
Excellent restaurants, ATMs, bookshops, and other amenities can be found here.
Finally, we will take our time visiting a germstone museum called Tanzanite Experience, where we will learn about the history, mystery, and rarity of this rare gemstone, which is only found in Tanzania.
Last but not least, I'd like to show you a cozy restaurant serving only the best and most delicious Tanzanian cuisine. The tables are surrounded by trees and an art gallery that adds to their beauty.
I'll say my goodbyes and thank you for the several hours we spent together.
