Tour of the Bloody Zaragoza

When a city is as ancient as Zaragoza, its streets and squares swirl with the memories of tragic, epic, and strange stories that have troubled the people of Zaragoza for centuries. However, many of these tales have been almost completely forgotten, so we thought why not recover them?
Join this nighttime tour to discover the darker side of Zaragoza: chilling stories, war, dark passages, corpses beneath our feet, some mysteries still unsolved today, mummies, ghosts, and strange voices will accompany us on this uniquely routed visit.
You will stroll through emblematic areas of the city such as the stone bridge, Plaza del Pilar, Calle Alfonso, San Felipe… but you will also explore places off the usual tourist circuit like the Coso.

Itinerary:
The visit begins at the Palace of the Counts of Morata or of the Luna, a must-see place in Zaragoza if you are looking for stories that verge on the macabre. Some of them might sound familiar to the people of Zaragoza, but this place hides many more secrets than you can imagine. 
We will wander through important squares like San Felipe or Plaza del Pilar, where we will delve into the Zaragoza of the War of Independence, full of legends, heroes, and death, but we will also talk about Victorian characters, great painters, and their obsession with the beyond.

Crossing the Stone Bridge, we will discuss a macabre murder and end the visit at the San Lázaro balcony with an ancient mystery and a much more recent accident.
