Tour description

Welcome to Politically Incorrect Tours!

Before you book: Please note that we mix humour into our tours. To get anything out of the experience, you need to understand English better than a Scottish toddler.

Stroll over the beautiful Inner Harbour Bridge and hear stories of all the things that would go in a typical Scandinavian film noir: suicide, shipping magnates and socialism. And if that doesn’t work up your appetite, then learning about the bougie and budget Copenhagen food scene certainly will! From award-winning dining, to street food.

So if you have an appetite for the curious and the creative, and you want to learn all about the area of Christiania and its inhabitants (–including a troll!) then this tour will be right up your alley.

Come get the low down on the high hippies, and find out what makes this area like no other place in the world!

The tour ends outside of Christiania, where you will be well-equipped to venture in on your own.

STOPS & SIGHTS:

  • Inderhavnsbroen
  • Christianshavn

  • Church of Our Saviour

Please show up 10 minutes before the start of the tour, we start at exactly on time.

The guide had a lot of energy and obviously was passionate about making a fun tour. However, his jokes were at the expense of factual accuracy. It felt more like he was pushing his personal politics rather than making fun or light of the history and politics. I also felt uncomfortable with paying at the end and felt a lot of judgement and pressure. He said to one poor girl who was traveling alone “Is that really all you have?” after she tipped him. He told us the tour is worth 20-30 euros before inviting us to pay what we think it deserved and I felt pressure to pay more even though I didn’t think it deserved it.

Good tour content-wise, the story of Christiania is fascinating. Also includes some general facts around Copenhagen and Denmark. The jokes at the beginning of the tour (introduction) were a bit rough, but during the tour they were very entertaining.

Martin was fun, engaging and painted a complete portrait of this interesting community. He also told many fascinating facts and tales about Copenhagen, it's food scene, for example. Highly recommend for anyone to take this informative tour.
