Explore Copenhagen's trendiest neighborhood with us on a 2-hour walking tour, guided by a local expert. During the tour, you 'll visit some of the locals' favorite spots and learn how the local community deals with Denmark's social issues on a daily basis.

The Alternative Copenhagen Tour: THE DARKEST DENMARK begins at Espresso House Rådhuspladsen and ends in the Meatpacking District. With a local expert, you'll discover a Copenhagen that's very different from the historic center and far from the most popular attractions . During the tour, you'll hear stories of a completely different world that challenges its social, political, and cultural status.

We'll take you on an exploration of Copenhagen's underground scene, strolling through the red-light district of Vesterbro. We'll tell you its interesting history, from its origins as a working-class neighborhood to the present day. You'll learn why this neighborhood has become home to many young artists and entrepreneurs, and you'll be able to observe the eclectic mix of locals following the recent renovations.

During the tour, you'll also visit some of Vesterbro's main attractions, walk along Istedgade, and learn how it has evolved over the past 100 years.
And of course, we'll take you to the former slaughterhouse area: Kødbyen , where you'll find trendy shops, bars, and cafes that will delight even the most hipsters. Join us as we discover a different and exciting side of Copenhagen!
