Tour description

Welcome aboard! Get ready for a tour of Bergen that skips the fluff and dives straigh  into the juicy stuf. 😃

We’ll kick things off by uncovering Bergen’s hidden gems, digging into wild Viking tales from its rich and often ridiculous history, kind of stories they don’t teach in school. 🏰

Then, it’s off to hunt down the best bites in town—tailored to your preference. Whether you're craving something fancy or just need to crush a legendary cinnamon bun, we’ve got you covered.🍝

On the way we will talk about todays life and future of Bergen and Norway.🌏

Pro tip: Bergen’s weather has commitment issues. It might rain, it might shine—probably both. 🌦

So bring that jacket and your sense of humor‼️

Let’s make some unforgettable memories (and maybe a few questionable choices).

Let’s roll!

The statue of Edvard Grieg sculpted by Ingebrigt Vik is a popular Bergen landmark. Edvard Hagerup Grieg was born in Bergen in 1843. He was a Norwegian composer and pianist, widely considered one of the leading Romantic era composers, and his music is part of the standard classical repertoire worldwide.

Den Nationale Scene Theater
Founded in 1850 as Det Norske Theater, this theater owes its existence to the pioneering vision of Norwegian violinist Ole Bull. Its primary objective was to foster the growth of Norwegian playwrights. Among its notable early contributors was Henrik Ibsen, who served as both a resident writer and an artistic director.

Outside visit
Bryggen
Next, we will admire Bryggen from across the harbor, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The wharf was once a bustling hub of trade during the Hanseatic period and is now a popular tourist destination. The colorful wooden buildings along the wharf are home to shops, restaurants, and museums, including the Hanseatic Museum and the Schøtstuene Museum.
