Tour description

......................
IMPORTANT please read this before booking this tour.

Update:

It can get a little cold at night, bring a nice jacket with you.
it is the rainy season, so remember to bring a water proof jacket or an umbrella. Some of the places might not be available because of the rain, but we can make some changes in the itinerary if required.

Free tours do not have a set price, I do not recieve any sort of payment from the city hall or the Bolivian government.
Each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from 10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).

WE ONLY DO SMALL GROUPS, we are not trying to reach the most people, but the right type of people. The groups start from one to five and up to eight -upon request- people. I strongly believe in quality services, and because of that, I also requiere that the people who book this tour should be interested in learning something. Please consider other options if you are too tired to listen or uninterested.

This tour is guided by Manuel

This night tour through the streets by foot will be a wonderful experience full of many tips, some hidden places, some history, colonial architecture, rich heritage and also of course beautiful places in this amazing city.

Hey there! My name is Manuel and we can explore the city of Sucre at night if you'd like to. I am a guide with 8 years of experience, I studied economics and environmental management, I have travelled all over Bolivia and South America. I am passionate about the current issues of my country and we can discus about while we enjoy the night in the White City.
When daylight starts to fade, I will show you the authentic heart of Sucre as the crowds thin, the locals come out and the monuments are displayed at their best, lit up for the night.
Itinerary:

We'll start the tour at Plazuela Cochabamba, where we'll introduce ourselves and provide a brief overview of the tour.

From there, we'll head to the Casa de la Libertad, a historic building that played a significant role in Bolivia's struggle for independence. We'll share stories about the country's history and how it relates to modern-day Bolivia.
On this night walking tour, you will have the opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the city's landmarks. From the Plaza 25 de Mayo, one of Sucre's most iconic public spaces, to the picturesque colonial streets of La Recoleta, this tour is designed to offer you a unique perspective of Sucre after dark.

As we walk through the historic district, we'll stop at various landmarks and monuments, including the House of Liberty Museum, the governor’s palace, the university of Sucre among others.
We are going to visit small alleys, like Santa Teresa's, with fascinating and terrifying ancient stories.

Along the way, we'll also share stories about Sucre's culture and traditions, politics and economics.

As we near the end of the tour, we'll visit a local bar (chichería), where we'll answer any questions and provide recommendations for local restaurants, bars, and other attractions, while we try some some delicious Tumbo (local fruit) cocktails. The tour will be 2 hours and a half.
See you soon…

I got to the meeting place, no Guru, went to cal and saw message saying tour was cancelled. Very disappointing as I had been invited out and turned them down because I was due in this tour!
