Tour description

CALLING ALL MUGGLES (And Witches and Wizards too) - Join Us on this “magical” free walking tour as we explore the wizard world of Harry Potter. 


  • Visit locations of key scenes in the Harry Potter movies 
  • Walk along the original “Diagon Alley” 
  • Be amazed  at the magical objects for sale at Wizards and Wonders
  • Have your photo taken with the Harry Potter Statue in the heart of London’s West End
  • See ORIGINAL props, costumes and artwork used in the movies 
  • Follow the trail of destruction of the death eaters
  • See where the film premieres took place 
  • But be careful we don’t want to take a wrong turn and end up in Knockturn Alley!!!!



Starting in Trafalgar  Square and ending at The House Of Minalina Gallery in Soho, with actual props and costumes from the movies on display, the walk takes in many areas of the “west end” including Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Soho, and Chinatown as we explore the magical world of Harry Potter, his friends and enemies.

THE BASICS📃- What you need to know! (And the boring legal bit)
📍The Tour Starts in Trafalger Sqaure (Nearest underground Charing Cross/Leicester Square) please meet at the TOP of the steps in the north west corner (Look for Canada house) underneath the statue of two men wearing hats. Please note that there may be several tour groups  here so make sure you find the right one.  I will be wearing a flat cap and carrying a black rucksack 

📍The tour ends outside the shop/gallery of The House of Minalina in the heart of Soho which is around 7 minute walk to both Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus stations and close to many restaurants shops and cafes in one of London’s liveliest districts.

🧑‍🦽The route is flat on paved roads with one small set of steps, and at one point a narrow alleyway. The route is suitable for those with reduced mobility, A comfortable pair of shoes or trainers is sufficient,  no need for any specific footwear, although it is advised against wearing high heels.

🐕‍🦺The tour is suitable for dogs but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times. 

🥤🥪Please note that there are very limited Toilet facilities or refreshments on this tour (there are public toilets at the start point) You may eat and drink on the tour (please no alcohol) but please be responsible and take any rubbish with you until you can find a bin. Smoking and vaping is forbidden on this tour for the comfort of all participants.

👉Also please note that the tour will cross many busy roads, please take extra care when crossing and follow any instructions given by the guru, please note that you are responsible for your own safety at all times.

Excellent tour and a very fun guide. Could have done with visual prompts to remind walkers of scenes and how they were depicted in the films, other than that, excellent.
