Welcome to my introduction! My name is Eliphas, and I'm a ninth-generation Roman who's thrilled to share my passion and knowledge of my beautiful city with you. As the manager of numerous cultural and archaeological sites, including the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo, and Palazzo Venezia, I have spent the past 17 years deeply immersed in Rome's rich history and customs. My name may sound exotic, but it actually comes from my father's love of theology, esotericism, and astronomy - he wrote a book on the subject and co-founded the first spiritual club in Rome and beyond. With my extensive experience and insider's knowledge, I can't wait to show you Rome's hidden gems, share captivating stories, and create unforgettable memories of the Eternal City.
In a small group, we will uncover Rome's greatest treasures, limited to a maximum of 12 people.
Starting from Largo argentina we will walk by the famous Tiber Island and into the bohemian neighbourhood of Trastevere, meandering through the charming medieval alleyways, we'll discover the architectural gems, including the stunning 4th-century church located in the main square.
After a bit of exploration, we'll stop for a delicious Gelato break before continuing on to climb up the Gianicolo hill. As we ascend we'll take in the Baroque Fontanone, Bramante's Tempietto while admiring some of the most breathtaking panoramic views that Rome has to offer.
As we descend, venturing through the busts of the heroes of Italy's war of independence and a very peculiar lighthouse, we will reach the smallest country in the world, the Vatican where we will uncover St.Peter's Square and its magnificent Basilica.
With your permission, I will capture the moments with a professional Camera, while not a professional photographer I have a passion for photography and a keen eye for capturing the beauty of Rome.
The photos will be shared with you on G-drive.
