Tour description

This tour is for everyone and if you don't speak Spanish, would you like to practice or learn Spanish while getting to know the city?
How much do you know about indigenous culture and their ancestors?
I would be happy to show you how wonderful Quito is, and everything about its culture.

Starting with the historic center since its architecture is fantastic and will envelop you just like its history and legends. You can take beautiful photographs, chocolate tasting. You'll also learn a little about Kichwa as we tour the city. Sounds great!


Our tour will be:

  • Basilica Church (Basilica del Voto Nacional, neo-Gothic style church)
  • We will pass through the street of the 7 churches.
  • Plaza Grande (Declared cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO)
  1. Archbishop's Palace
  2. Statue of Independence (we will talk a little about history)
  3. Cathedral
  4. Carondelet Palace
  • Metropolitan Cultural Center (neo-baroque style, did you know that this building was a university?
  • Church of the Company of Jesus ( Did you know that this church is made of gold? Wow )
  • Central Bank of Ecuador ( Did you know that the official currency of Ecuador was the sucre? )
  • Plaza San Francisco and San Francisco Church ( Did you know that the church was built by the Devil 😈? Ready to hear the legend? )
  • Chocolate tasting 🍫
  • Time to remember the Kichwa

Fue un excelente tour, Daniela fue muy amable, carismática y divertida. Durante el recorrido no solo contó acerca de la historia y cultura de Quito también hablo de la actualidad y además contó leyendas y anécdotas muy interesantes. Daniela was great! We booked a private tour for four people. She was patient with us when one of us would wander off to take pictures! She taught us a few words of the indigenous people and a few Spanish words also. She brought us a piece of chocolate that she made! At the end of three hours we were on overload. It was a great day with Daniela!!

Daniela is an exceptional tour guide. She is very well prepared and a wonderful person. After finish my tour with her in the morning, I received a cancellation of a second tour to "Middle of the world" (Alejandro - "PRO tour guide"). In spite of I was just 1 person, she didnt doubt and supported me to do this second tour. I really recognize this has been one of the best tours I have made around the world thanks to Daniela!!
