Come explore Toronto's Old town & Distillery districts.
Hi, there. I'm a tour guide in Toronto. I love the city, as well as meeting new people. A role model of mine was Anthony Bourdain, as I loved what he was trying to accomplish by bringing people together, regardless of background, to illustrate the human desire for connection we all have. I aspire to give my guests the same genuine passion. In my spare time, I enjoy eating too much chocolate, making music, and writing, the latter two being my side jobs and passions. (If only I was paid to eat chocolate.) I've traveled to over 10 countries, I have lived in four of them, and have spent years residing in different states within the U.S, from California to Pennsylvania. One of my favorite places on earth is Ireland, and a place I want to travel to is Japan. I offer a few tours in Toronto and would love to show you around the city. Lastly, because I majored in Japanese in college, I retain much of the language, and could, upon request, speak Japanese while on the tour if any potential guests are from Japan. (Though I can't promise fluency.) Just thought I'd mention it. NOTE: please message me if you see a booking is full and we can talk about adding you on the schedule. I also offer private tours upon request. Please message me if interested.
Tour description
Come and enjoy Toronto's Old Town along our famous front and church streets, where we take a look at the city's history of fires, beer, food, and general mayhem. If you're a fan of unique stories, Canadian cuisine, and alcohol, this tour is perfect for you.
The tour starts at Union Station, right inside the grand hall, in front of the traveler's aid booth. From there, we will go to such locations as the hockey hall of Fame, Berzky Park, and St.James Cathedral, and end in Toronto's famous distillery district, the site of many famous movies such as X-Men and Tommy Boy. You will see beautiful views of the CN Tower, as well as explore the inside of St.Lawrence Market. We will pass by many of Toronto's famous craft beer bars, and see the beautiful architecture perf the city preserved from the 19th century.
Naturally, if you enjoy alcohol, history, film, or food, this tour is perfect for you, as there will be many places to eat, drink, and shop along the way. Not only will it give you an insight into Toronto's history, but you will also get a feel for the city, and be able to find your way around in no time.
So, if you like a guide with a sense of humor, some cool history, and an end location filled with every kind of alcohol you can imagine, this tour is the one for you - but hey, you don't need to be a drinker to enjoy this tour. There's plenty of great history without the need to drop into a bar after the tour is done. (It just might not be as fun. )
(If the tour is full, please message me to ask about joining.)

I will be standing outside the hockey hall of fame, near the statues of the hockey players. It's right off Front Street. I will be wearing a lanyard with my name on it.
