Meet your guide 33 rue du Sommerard, in front of the museum de Cluny. I will have an Ipad with the name "Urban Stories" on it.
This is where we start the tour, by the ruins of Roman baths.
We then head for Notre-Dame, and see the history of the Middle Ages.
At the Conciergerie, we'll talk about the history of the Revolution.
We head to the 1800s with the Hotel de Ville, where is the mayor's office.
We finish at the Centre Pompidou, the museum of modern art, to talk about the 1900s.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
