Have you not yet visited San Telmo?
Without a doubt one of the neighborhoods you can't miss !
On this tour, we'll take an incredible stroll through the city's most picturesque corners , on a historical journey that will transport you to Colonial Buenos Aires, its architectural styles, customs, and secrets.
We'll begin at Lezama Park, bordering the La Boca neighborhood, located exactly in the year 1536. We'll explore the fascinating history of the founding of Buenos Aires and try to imagine that intercultural encounter with the indigenous peoples.
We will delight in architectural gems such as the Russian Orthodox Church with its neo-Byzantine style.
We will advance through the 17th and 18th centuries, where we will visit buildings founded by the Jesuits and the Bethlehemites, such as the Parish of San Pedro González Telmo.
We'll walk down the street where English troops entered at the beginning of the 19th century, and visit iconic buildings such as the Ezeiza residence, built at the end of that century.
We will delight in the flavors and aromas of the SAN TELMO MARKET , strolling through its tempting gastronomic patio.
We will be able to take charming photos , such as the narrowest house in the city of Buenos Aires and a sky of colorful umbrellas.
+BONUS TRACK: If you come on a SUNDAY we will go through the famous SAN TELMO FAIR.
I'll show you El Viejo Almacén, a traditional Tango house, where you can enjoy a spectacular show with some of the best artists in our country!
We will end by visiting MAFALDA!
On the border between San Telmo and Montserrat, an area of bars, art, history, food, beer, antiques and more.
